We made up some new characters during today’s manga workshop with the Manchester City Library’s teen anime club:

Our characters came out of a “Frankenstein Characters” exercise adapted from the teachings of Andrew Wales. We used the work of various manga artists in creating our original characters; the next step is following the characters into an introductory storyline or two!
This workshop also featured a test-run of the newest Comics Workshop mini-comic about manga techniques, “BEYOND BIG EYES.”
