Students in Milan, NH are interviewing their neighbors about how they use math and science in their jobs. They interviewed Marek about all the fractions and decimals that go into publishing a book of comics.
… And they might make some comics to share what they learn about other careers, too!

The After School Program at Berlin Junior High created a mini-book of cartoon characters today. Next week, they’ll start longer stories and publish them as mini-comics.
This program was made possible by an ArtLinks grant to the Family Resource Center (in partnership with Arts Alliance of Northern New Hampshire) from the NH State Council on the Arts and the National Endowment for the Arts.
