Berlin, NH: Greek Myths & Tobacco Awareness

Seventh graders at Berlin (NH) Junior High School spent today creating comic strips about their favorite Greek Myths. After School Program (ASP) students also completed a 12-page mini-comic about the hazardous chemicals found in cigarettes.

We used as our main resource a list of chemicals provided by the ASP, via the school’s tobacco awareness program. This mini-comic will be the students’ entry in a contest to design a tobacco-awareness campaign to inform the school community about the dangers of smoking.
