      M.Ed. program reading & reflections!
Constant daily practice of graphic narrative visualization & meditation (a.k.a. doodling & reading comics)!

These comic strips are so very clever. I am going to use them in my classroom. I teach a multiple intelligence unit to start the school year. Your comic strip format will “hook” my 5th graders. Thank you!

    • Marek says:

Nancy — Thanks so much! Do let us see what your students create with these concepts… — M

  12. Samantha says:

Love these! I’m planning on using them with my 2/3 class first week of school to help students think about and recognize their learning preferences.

    • Marek says:

Samantha — Great! I certainly drew these in part to encourage people to think about alternatives to standard text+graphic emphasis. However, an equally important — or maybe even MORE important — part of this is the recognition that NO HUMAN is exclusively ONE intelligence or another, and that we all benefit from exposure to and experience with ALL… as I draw out in the longer format MI piece that these posters appear in. Thanks for sharing your usage! We’d love to hear about your students’ reactions… — Marek

  13. Coralie says:

That’s so cool ! I’ve sent this link to my partner and I shared it on FB.
I’ve used it to memorize the book of William Gardner. I’ve used as well mind mapping to do that… I have wanted to get good at drawing… I put it aside feeling a lack of confidence. With your great energy I got that back.
    Much thanks to you

    • Marek says:

Good for you Coralie! Drawing, seen from the MI perspective, is not a collection of esoteric techniques & skills, but rather a way of understanding the world around us… So YOUR drawings will emerge in a unique, personal style! Enjoy!
